information.
Kim M. Haney
I graduated law school in 1998 and promptly went to work in the
Mississippi family court system. In 2003, I decided to add criminal
representation to my workload (minus anyone charged with harming a
child). In 2006, I decided to dedicate my legal practice solely to the
representation of children.
On a personal note, I am married, have a great group of children (bio and
adoptive). Yes, I said group. We have five children so far. And hopefully
we will be adding one more child to our home this summer. In addition,
we share our home with 2 fish, a lizard, baby quail, and usually 3 to 4
cats, and 1 dog.
I am available to speak at elementary, middle, and high schools,
churches, and charity organizations about adoption and other legal
issues involving children. I am available to speak to your group. Email or
call me and we will work out the details.
I have been honored with awards but the greatest award I have ever
received is from my own children when they say they are proud of what I
do.
Kim's favorite tip about children:
Expect the unexpected. Then smile. It can almost always be worse.
